Verdi's Bicentenary 1813-2013
 2013 is the year that marks the extraordinary event of the bicentenary of the birth of Giuseppe Verdi. Absolute genius of the nineteenth century, leaves to the world a huge poetic, theatrical and musical heritage. Verdi was the inheritor of the great traditions of italian melody , and this makes his music universally loved. For this reason A.R.I. Fidenza radio club (Italian Radio Amateur Association, IARU affiliated) decided to make this special QSL especially created to celebrate the important event. For the whole October month , connecting members of A.R.I. Fidenza Radio Club you will receive the special double QSL card.

Rules
All members of ARI Fidenza Radio Club , in compliance with the annual fee, are connectable stations in order to obtain the special QSL card. The full list of members is available here : http://www.arifidenza.it/Lasezione_soci.asp

Start: 1st October 2013 ; End 31 October 2013.

 Frequencies used : from 160m to 10m, WARC included, in SSB, CW and Digital modes . Call : CQ VERDI BICENTENARY

· Each QSO made with a member of the section of Fidenza (or club callsign IQ4FE) give right to receive the special double QSL via the bureau.

· Upon request, as long as stocks, the same special QSL card will be available with postage stamp of Giuseppe Verdi and special postmark of the Bicentenary of the birth.

Symbolic sites: radio activity is also planned with the club callsign IQ4FE / P from some of the symbolic sites of Verdi's land :

-Roncole Verdi : Saturday, October 5

-Fidenza : Saturday , October 12 - Sunday , October 13

-Busseto : Saturday, October 19

Activation dates may change: the updated information will be available on our website.

The frequencies used by IQ4FE / P will be: 40m, 20m, 15m SSB, CW and Digital modes.

If you connect club callsign IQ4FE / P from all the symbolic sites activated, you will receive free of charge the Diploma of the Verdi Bicentenary in PDF format : in order to receive it, you must send via e-mail at contest@arifidenza.it the extract of your log containing the details of your QSO's with IQ4FE/P operating from the 3 symbolics sites of Verdi's land.

Notes about QSL shipment

The shipment of Verdi Bicententenary QSL will take place via Bureau.

The Verdi Bicententenary QSL with postage stamp of Giuseppe Verdi and special bicentenary postmark will be shipped only via DIRECT (no bureau.) For this reason it is required a fee of:

- Italy: Euro 5,00 and SASE ;

- Europe: Euro 7,00 ($ 10,00) and SAE ;

- Outside Europe: Euro 10,00 ($ 15,00) and SAE ;

The sending of the contribution can also be done by:

- Bank transfer (IBAN IT58C0335901600100000069203 - BIC: BCITITMX)
Payee : Associazione Radioamatori Italiani Fidenza

- Paypal, specifying contribution QSL Verdi

Connecting the station IQ4FE / P from all the symbolic sites activated you will receive a free of charge diploma in PDF format.
In order to receive it, you must send via e-mail at contest@arifidenza.it the extract of your log containing the details of your QSO's with IQ4FE/P operating from the 3 symbolics sites of Verdi's land.

If you want to receive the diploma on paper you must also send us a contribution of Euro 10,00 for Italy, Euro 15,00 ($ 20,00) for Europe, Euro 20,00 ($ 25,00) for outside Europe.
